Childbirth Center

At United Regional, we have everything in place to help you make your delivery special for you and the entire family.

Our spacious labor and delivery rooms provide all the comforts of home along with the latest technology and obstetrical equipment. And, with our experienced, caring medical staff, you can relax knowing that you and your newborn are in capable hands.

Expect the Best

Our neonatal resuscitation certified nursery staff, Level II nursery facility and PALS certified pediatric staff ensure that infants requiring intermediate care have immediate access to specialized medical services. And, as a Children’s Miracle Network hospital, monies raised through various CMN projects help fund purchases of state–of–the–art, child–sized equipment in the nursery, LDR and pediatric unit, as well as in every department that treats children.

United Regional offers a full range of education classes for parents, siblings and grandparents, including: Preparation for Childbirth, Infant/Child CPR, Basics of Breastfeeding, Special Siblings and Safe Sitters.Class Schedule

Tour the Facilities

Seeing is believing. United Regional welcomes expectant parents to take a tour of our state–of–the–art facilities. The Labor/Delivery/Recovery rooms, the Post Partum Unit and Nursery are all part of the tour. Tours are held each Sunday at 2:00 p.m. To join a tour, go to the Labor and Delivery Unit on the fifth floor of the Eighth Street Campus.
