Children’s Miracle Network

Children’s Miracle Network assists United Regional in providing state–of–the–art pediatric technology.

In 1988, United Regional became a Children's Miracle Network hospital and has raised over $9 million to provide the best pediatric medical care possible for the children of Texoma.

When a child is ill, a newborn needs highly specialized treatment, or there is an emergency, nothing is as important as United Regional's ability to provide the best medical care for the child. Being able to provide the highest quality of medical care means it is absolutely necessary to have the funds for state-of-the-art pediatric equipment, education and training for our highly-specialized medical staff.

Children's Miracle Network is an international, non-profit fundraising organization that benefits 170 member hospitals throughout North America. Its founding pledge - to keep 100% of all donations in the area in which they were raised and to earmark those funds for children - remains at the core of its philosophy.

As a Children's Miracle Network hospital, United Regional utilizes funds raised from special events and other fundraising programs to provide services in:

  • Intermediate Special Care Nursery
  • Labor, Delivery and Nursery
  • Post Partum
  • Emergency Room
  • Intensive Care Unit (two specialized pediatric ICU Rooms)
  • Respiratory Therapy
  • Radiology

Why do we call our pediatric patients a Children's Miracle Network Champion?

A champion is someone who has won a victory. No better word describes the children treated at United Regional each year. But no victory is won alone. Doctors, nurses and hospital personnel play a major role in the care and treatment of the children and provide knowledge, care and medical attention. Families provide love, encouragement and hope. Donors at every level fulfill vital needs for equipment and care, and in turn, are both life-savers and life-givers.
