This number is answered 24 hours a day by a member of the Emergency Department Team. Call the ED transfer line at (866) 645-6333. This call goes to a United Regional ED physician where clinical information will be obtained from the referring ED physician and medical acceptance will be determined. If medical acceptance is given, our ED physician will transfer the call to the House Supervisor for administrative acceptance. If you get disconnected, please call back at (940) 781-1333. The House Supervisor will transfer the call back to the ED to give report on the patient. The referring hospital nurse will give report to our ED nurse. Referring ED Physician to Preferred Provider Transfer Call the “Preferred Provider” for medical acceptance of your patient. United Regional is unable to locate the preferred provider, who is not on call. Call the House Supervisor at (940) 781-1333, to obtain administrative acceptance. The United Regional accepting physician will also call the House Supervisor to confirm acceptance of the patient.
