The medical staff has studied under some of the leaders in bariatric weight loss surgery and strives to perform the latest techniques in laparoscopic procedures.
Dr. May is a minimally invasive surgeon, who has a special interest in bariatric surgery.
He attended medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas and then completed his general surgical residency at Texas A&M Health Science Center/Scott & White Hospital.
Dr. May has trained with many of the leaders in laparoscopic bariatric surgery and is excited to offer minimally invasive bariatric surgery services to the Texoma region and his hometown of Wichita Falls.
Dr. Finnell is a native of the Wichita Falls area. He grew up in Holliday, Texas. He is a graduate of Midwestern State University. He attended medical school at the University of Texas at Houston. Following medical school he completed a residency in general surgery at The University of Tennessee at Memphis. Dr. Finnell also did a fellowship in laparoscopic surgery at Hackensack University Medical Center in New Jersey, one of the busiest centers in the country for laparoscopic bariatric surgery. He also performs laparoscopic gastric bypass and the Lap Band.
Brian Hull, DO, Medical Director Dr. Hull is a local family practice physician with over 22 years experience. He has been in private practice since 1991 and is a founding partner at Family Practice Associates, LLC.
His passion for preventive care combined with his experience in teaching and educating (Chief of Family Medicine at Sheppard Air Force Base 87-89 and clinical instructor for USAF Physicians Assistance Program 89-91) brings an incredible combination of comprehensive medical supervision to a dynamic weight management program.
He is a member of the Texas Medical Association and American Academy of Family Physicians.
Kim Mercer, MSN, RN, CFNP Kim is an advance practice nurse with over 27 years nursing experience. Her education includes a Master of Science degree in Nursing from The University of Texas at Arlington. She is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She is also a member of the American Academy of Family Nurse Practitioners, and Sigma Theta Tau International, national honor society of nursing. |
