Mary Jo, a nursing professor at MSU, suffered from a degenerative disc disease that caused so much pain that walking was difficult. She had to give up things she loved like traveling and playing with her dogs. Determined that the pain would not rule her life, Mary Jo turned to United Regional where doctors performed a lumbar fusion using image-guided technology.
