Supporting the Health of the Community
United Regional Foundation was organized in 1998 in support of United Regional Health Care System's commitment to providing excellence in health care for the communities we serve. The Foundation raises funds through the generosity of individuals, families, corporations and foundations to help ensure continued excellence in patient care. Contributions assist United Regional in further improving community health through investments in life-saving medical equipment and state-of-the-art facilities.
United Regional is the community's hospital. No stockholders receive dividends based on its financial performance; rather all excess revenues after expenses are reinvested in clinical advancements, equipment, technology, and facilities to provide medical services for all members of the community. No city or county taxes are assessed to offset uncompensated or charity care.
Spirit of Giving United Regional’s 1,825 employees have pledged more than $266,000 through their 2011-2012 Spirit of Giving Campaign for Children’s Miracle Network, United Regional’s Friendship Fund, United Regional Foundation, Rathgeber Hospitality House, United Way, and the Hands to Hands Community Fund.
How You Can Help There are many ways to be involved with United Regional Foundation. You may wish to volunteer for an event or project committee, participate in a fundraising event, make a current contribution, or include United Regional Foundation in your estate plan. All assistance and contributions are appreciated, and will help United Regional make a positive difference in the lives of others.
