United Regional Foundation

Committed to the Health of the Community

United Regional Foundation was organized in 1998 in support of United Regional Health Care System's commitment to providing excellence in health care for the communities served. As the only full service hospital in the region, United Regional is the single source for trauma care and comprehensive emergency services in Wichita County and the surrounding eight counties.

United Regional is the community's hospital and no stockholders receive dividends based on its financial performance. All excess revenues after expenses are reinvested in the equipment, expertise, and facilities required to operate 24 hours every day, seven days every week, for all members of the community. No city or county taxes are assessed to offset uncompensated or charity care.

Foundation Projects

Much of what United Regional is able to accomplish is made possible by private support facilitated by United Regional Foundation. The generosity of individuals, families, corporations and foundations helps ensure continued excellence in patient care.

United Regional Foundation organizes a number of fundraising activities and events each year including those described below.

Children's Miracle Network: When a child is ill, a newborn needs highly specialized treatment, or there is an emergency, United Regional is able to provide the highest quality of medical care in part because of funds raised through the Children's Miracle Network.

United Regional is assisted by the Children's Miracle network in providing state-of-the-art pediatric technology and care. Since 1988, more than seven million dollars has been raised locally to provide the best pediatric medical care possible for the children of Texoma.

As a Children's Miracle Network Hospital, United Regional utilizes funds raised through events and other fundraising projects to provide services in
