Wichita Falls Information

Wichita Falls is located in the northern part of Texas, with Oklahoma City and Dallas each a two-hour drive away.

There are many choices when it comes to education in Wichita Falls, with 18 pre–school and kindergarten schools, 12 private or parochial schools, and 29 public schools. Wichita Falls is also home to Midwestern State University, Vernon College and American Commercial College.

The city offers many opportunities for fun, both indoor and outdoor with 41 parks, five golf courses and many sporting complexes as well as the Multi–Purpose Event Center (MPEC).

Wichita Falls is a growing community with many offerings.
