Volunteen (Student Volunteer) Program
At United Regional, we enjoy working with students during the summer. It’s a great opportunity to showcase their skills, instill a volunteer spirit and possibly find future healthcare professionals!
The Volunteen program at United Regional is an 8-week summer program beginning June 5 and ending July 28, 2023.
Requirements
Students interested in volunteering at United Regional, must be:
- Classified as a junior or senior in high school when school begins in August of 2023;
- Must commit to at least one day per week from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.;
- Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and show proof of vaccination;
- Must be willing to take a TB test; and
- Be at least 15 years of age by June 1, 2023.
Students help with departmental projects, work in the Coffee Bar and Gift Shop, pop popcorn, and may assist in a medical area.

Student Volunteer application, essay and references are due April 3, 2023.
The Student Volunteer program will begin on Monday, June 5, 2023.
