Your physician may refer your hospital care to a hospitalist. Hospitalists are physicians who specialize in the medical care of hospitalized patients working in partnership with your physician to provide care to you during your stay.
The hospitalists will:
- assess and treat your medical condition
- coordinate medical testing during your stay
- provide progress reports to your physician
- transition your care back to your physician upon your hospital discharge
If you have questions regarding the hospitalist program, please call 764-3983.
