Healthy Lifestyle

Are you or someone you love at risk for type 2 diabetes? United Regional’s Healthy Lifestyle Program can help you take control of your health. Led by a certified Lifestyle Coach Specialist, this program includes one-hour classes held weekly for 16 weeks, followed by monthly sessions for six months. You’ll learn how to build healthy habits and make lasting lifestyle changes.

Eligibility Requirements

To participate, you must meet all of the following:

  • Be 18 years or older
  • Have a BMI over 25 (overweight)
  • Not currently diagnosed with type 1 or type 2 diabetes
  • Not currently pregnant

You must also meet one of these criteria:

  • Diagnosed with prediabetes
  • Previously diagnosed with gestational diabetes
  • Received a high-risk result on the prediabetes risk test
